In Indian cinema, it’s a time of victorious sequels. Following the historical successes of ‘Baahubali’ and ‘KGF’ at the box office, several filmmakers are now contemplating two-part releases in their big-budget superhit films. A movie that transcends language barriers and is eagerly anticipated by Indian cinema enthusiasts is the Telugu film’s sequel. It’s none other than ‘Pushp 2.’ The producers have now officially announced the release date for the film.
Next year, on Independence Day, which is August 15, 2024, the film will be released simultaneously in multiple languages worldwide. A new poster that is creating excitement reveals the release date. In the poster, it is Fahadh Faasil who plays the lead role. For the first part of the film, Fahadh will be seen on the screen, and his character has grown popular.
In the sequel, just as in the first part, Bhoomi Singh Shekhawat, portrayed by Rashmika Mandanna, will be the female lead. Newcomer Navin Yerneni will be the producer along with Vamsi and Ravi Shankar, who are also part of Mythri Movie Makers.
