OnePlus has unveiled the rollout timeline for its eagerly awaited OxygenOS 14 update, which is based on Android 14. The global open beta rollout is set to kick off on September 25, offering users an early opportunity to experience the latest features and improvements.
Early Access for OnePlus 11 and Nord 2T Users
To provide users with an exclusive preview of OxygenOS 14, OnePlus has already released the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 for OnePlus 11 users in India and North America. Additionally, Indian users of the OnePlus Nord 2T had the chance to apply for participation in the OxygenOS 14 closed beta testing program, enhancing accessibility to the update.

OnePlus has published a comprehensive timeline for the OxygenOS 14 Open Beta rollout. In October, users of the following OnePlus devices can anticipate the update: OnePlus Pad, OnePlus Nord 3 5G, OnePlus 11R 5G, OnePlus 10 Pro 5G, and OnePlus 10T 5G. The rollout will continue in November, extending to include OnePlus 10R 5G, OnePlus 9 Pro 5G, OnePlus 9 5G, OnePlus 9R 5G, OnePlus 9RT 5G, OnePlus 8T 5G, OnePlus Nord CE 3 5G, OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G, OnePlus Nord N30 5G, OnePlus Nord 2T 5G, and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite users.
Exclusions and Special Cases
It’s essential to note that not all OnePlus devices will receive the OxygenOS 14 update. Notably, OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro users are excluded from the update. Similarly, users of OnePlus Nord 2, Nord CE, and Nord CE 2 models will not receive the update. However, OnePlus has confirmed that the Nord N20 SE will receive the stable version of OxygenOS 14.
OxygenOS 14: Expected Improvements and Features
The OxygenOS 14 Beta promises several enhancements, including improved management of photo and video-related permissions, enhanced system stability, faster app launches, and smoother on-screen animations. Users can also look forward to revamped system notification sounds and new Aquamorphic-themed ringtones. Additionally, the update introduces a unique carbon monitoring Always-On Display (AOD) that visualizes the reduction in carbon emissions when users opt for walking over driving.
