
Paris Women’s Fashion Week for Spring/Summer 2024 is set to feature a vibrant lineup of 108 labels, including 68 shows and 41 presentations. The event, scheduled from September 25 to October 3, maintains a similar scale to the previous season, with nine new brands making their debut while eight brands are absent from this season’s calendar.
Key highlights of the event include a retrospective dedicated to Azzedine Alaïa at the Palais Galliera, along with numerous parallel shows, including Messika Haute Joaillerie, Louboutin’s Loubi Show, and L’Oréal. Lacoste will also host a grand celebration for its 90th anniversary.
Notably, Vietnamese-born American designer Peter Do and Italian fashion house Marni have joined the lineup for the first time, replacing Dundas and Palm Angels. Other prominent names in the fashion industry, such as Christian Dior, Saint Laurent, Balmain, Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, and Chanel, will present their collections during the event.
Special moments during the week include Gabriela Hearst’s final show for Chloé and Sarah Burton’s final show for Alexander McQueen. On September 30, designers Stefano Gallici at Ann Demeulemeester and Louise Trotter at Carven will debut their collections.
Additionally, Mugler and Maison Margiela will return to the ready-to-wear calendar, while Kiko Kostadinov’s brand transitions to the official women’s calendar. Casablanca has moved from the men’s to the women’s ready-to-wear program.
New designers and brands to watch for include Marie Adam Leenaerdt, Duran Lantink, Caroline HÚ, Christopher Esber, Paloma Wool, and Quira. The presentation lineup welcomes Aigle, Kimhékim, and Dryce Lahssan’s first collection for Pellat-Finet. Some notable absentees from this season’s schedule include A.W.A.K.E. Mode, Shang Xia, Off-White, and Ester Manas.
